Although no boat is perfect, the Hunter 26 has many of the features
one looks for in this type of vessel. The water ballast hull makes
the boat much lighter for towing and retractable centerboard allows
boat to sit low on trailer. The cockpit is spacious and uncluttered
with removable dining table.
The interior is the largest of any boat in it's class with huge
table and fully enclosed head. The galley has a sink with pump faucet
and alcohol stove. There is a specific enclosure for ice chest.
Aft is a queen size bed that comfortably sleeps 2 under the cockpit
area. There is a screened port opening here as well. The V berth
sleeps 2 adults when extended over the dining table. The dinette
easily seats 6 around the very large table. The head is enclosed
with room for the portapotti as well as a sink with pump faucet
and wet locker area. There is storage everywhere!
